Who is Munin and what is DOG?
My name is Munin Jitsajjapong and I am the highschool student who is the author of an original Wordless Picture Book series titled “ตูบ” or DOG .
Wordless Picture books contain illustrations and little to no words. Readers are invited to use their imagination to interpret a storyline around the illustrations they see in the book. Due to the wordless nature of the books, there are also no reading barriers to prevent anyone from engaging in the story and each story can also be retold more than once depending on a reader’s perspective.
Making DOG
The illustrations were drawn in the Procreate App on my IPad. The overall process involved brainstorming a general idea, drafting out a storyboard, and drawing out and refining individual pages whilst referring back to the previous ones.

These sketches were inspired by my pitbulls. Dogs are extremely expressive in their behaviours and personalities and they do not communicate using spoken language so dogs are the perfect motif in my wordless book series. I hope that many readers would find these canine characters likeable.
